Position Summary
Leads GIADEC’s commercial strategy and trading operations across the aluminium value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives.
- Lead negotiations and execution of offtake agreements and commercial partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new trading opportunities in local and international markets.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams to manage trading risks and ensure compliance.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage the commercial team and oversee performance and development.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant First degree from a recognized tertiary institution. A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, or related field would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 18 years of commercial/trading experience in commodities, with at least 10 years at senior management level.
- Experience in the extractives, manufacturing, or heavy industry sector is preferred.
- Track record of negotiating and executing high-value contracts.
- Membership of a professional body is an added advantage.

Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant first degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism from a recognized tertiary institution. A Master’s degree in a related field would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in communications/public affairs, with at least 10 years at senior management level.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale public campaigns and high-profile communications.
- Experience working with government institutions or extractive industries is a plus.
- Membership of a professional body is an added advantage.

- Full professional certification such as ACCA, ICA, CPA is required qualification

- Minimum of 18 years of experience in project finance, public sector finance, or extractives industry is preferred, with at least 10 years at senior management level.
- Proven ability to manage high value and multi-currency financial environments.
- Experience working with government institutions or extractive industries is a plus.
